<image:title>MOTHERHOOD - Life with Two Under Three: What’s different the second time around - If I had to sum it up in one sentence, it’s this. More chaotic in the best way. Twice the love and yes, twice the chaos… The biggest shift for me has been in the day to day. With my first, everything revolved around his schedule. He had structured naps, which meant I had built in time to reset. I could clean the house, catch up on things I needed to do, or honestly just take a nap myself. Now, it doesn’t work like that. My toddler is on one nap a day and my baby naps when my toddler allows her to. Somehow, without fail, she always has a wake window right when he’s asleep.</image:title>

<image:title>MOTHERHOOD - Life with Two Under Three: What’s different the second time around - The hardest part right now is leaving the house. My son is a tornado. He’s always moving, always exploring, fully in his own world. Trying to keep up with him while baby wearing has been a challenge. It’s something I’m actively working on because I don’t want us to feel stuck at home. We have weekly speech therapy appointments, and taking both of them has really helped build my confidence. We’ve started venturing out more, sticking to enclosed playgrounds and going during non busy times. It’s still a learning curve, but I’m getting there.</image:title>

<image:title>MOTHERHOOD - Life with Two Under Three: What’s different the second time around - Emotionally, I don’t think I expected how much less time I would have for myself. But instead of resenting that, it’s made me value the moments I do get so much more. Even with my husband, date nights are rare. But because of that, they feel more meaningful. This time around, I feel more like myself. Postpartum with my first was hard. I didn’t know what to expect and I didn’t know how to handle it. Now, having gone through it once, I felt more prepared. More grounded.</image:title>

<image:title>MOTHERHOOD - Life with Two Under Three: What’s different the second time around - Motherhood the second time has changed me again. I’ve learned more patience. I’ve become more organized. I’ve picked up little systems and shortcuts that make life run smoother. But more than anything, I’ve learned how to slow down. I’ve let go of the idea of perfection. I’ve also let go of feeling like a burden when people offer to help. Now, I just accept it.</image:title>

<image:title>MOTHERHOOD - Heartburn During Pregnancy? Here Are the Remedies Moms Recommend Most - Let’s Talk Natural Remedies</image:title>
<image:caption>If you are like me, you probably want to try natural remedies before turning to medications. The number one suggestion, and one I think most of us have heard before, was milk. It came up again and again, with moms even sharing different methods like sipping it slowly or mixing it with a little water. I personally tried sleeping elevated, ice cream, and watermelon, and all three helped give me some relief. Staying propped up at night kept the burning from creeping in, but honestly it was uncomfortable and I did not sleep very well. Cold ice cream worked really well, and I am not above a late night sweet treat if it means some relief. Watermelon has been one of my cravings this pregnancy, and it quickly became my go-to because it soothed the burn almost instantly. It is the one remedy I have stayed consistent with. Other moms had a long list of natural tricks that worked for them. Almonds came up over and over. They are alkaline, which may help neutralize stomach acid, and they are easy to keep on hand for a quick snack. Getting up and walking after a meal was another favorite. It makes sense because lying down too soon can make heartburn worse, while moving keeps everything in your stomach from pushing back up. Alkaline water also got mentioned. Because it has a higher pH, it may help counteract stomach acid naturally.</image:caption>

<image:title>Style & Beauty - Easy Skincare for Moms: How I Brought Back My Glow - Cleanser</image:title>
<image:caption>Instead of a traditional face wash, I often reach for Medicube Zero Pore Pad on nights when I want something fast and mess free. These pads cleanse, gently exfoliate, and help keep pores clear in one step. They contain mild exfoliating ingredients like PHA and witch hazel. While many pregnant women use them comfortably, exfoliating acids can be a gray area depending on skin sensitivity. I personally used these sparingly during pregnancy and continue to use them postpartum when my skin needs a refresh. They are perfect for nights when I want clean skin without committing to a full sink routine.</image:caption>

<image:title>Style & Beauty - Easy Skincare for Moms: How I Brought Back My Glow - Toner</image:title>
<image:caption>Next, I use the Sweet July Pava Toner with a cotton round. It has glycolic acid, papaya, and guava that gently resurface and dissolve dead skin cells. I feel like it really helps bring out a natural glow when used consistently. Since it’s strong, I only use it two to three times a week, which means fewer steps most nights. Just using it a couple nights a week, I can tell it leaves my skin looking brighter… even if the rest of me is running on no sleep.</image:caption>

<image:title>Style & Beauty - Easy Skincare for Moms: How I Brought Back My Glow - Essence</image:title>
<image:caption>We’ve all heard about Rhode’s Glazing Milk, and for good reason. I use it after toner for hydration and barrier support. This step makes me feel like I’m doing something special for my skin without adding more work. It’s a ceramide facial essence, which means it moisturizes, smooths, and helps reinforce the skin’s natural barrier. It’s lightweight and a little goes a long way.</image:caption>

<image:title>Style & Beauty - Easy Skincare for Moms: How I Brought Back My Glow - Glow Serum</image:title>
<image:caption>After the Glazing Milk, I go in with the Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum. Pregnancy hormones had my skin all over the place, and this serum helped calm things down. It helps control oil and brighten at the same time. Niacinamide is the star here. It regulates oil, evens skin tone, and improves texture. Bonus that it’s also gentle enough for pregnancy!</image:caption>
</image:image>

<image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6746259cef960b27fffa46a4/4947c4b5-b6d6-474a-ada9-bb694ccf4b83/6.png</image:loc>
<image:title>Style & Beauty - Easy Skincare for Moms: How I Brought Back My Glow - Moisturizer</image:title>
<image:caption>Lastly, I recently swapped my moisturizer for the Collagen Niacinamide Jelly Cream, and it has been exactly what my skin needs right now! The jelly texture feels lightweight but also deeply hydrating, which is ideal for my postpartum skin that somehow feels both dry and congested at the same time? It contains niacinamide and collagen and does not include commonly restricted pregnancy ingredients, though it is always best to double check with your provider!</image:caption>

<image:title>Style & Beauty - Easy Skincare for Moms: How I Brought Back My Glow - Shark CryoGlow Mask</image:title>
<image:caption>One of the best skincare gifts I have ever received as a mom is the Shark CryoGlow Mask. On extra busy days or the ones where I barely get a break at all, this is the skincare step I reach for. The Shark CryoGlow Mask is completely hands free, and the remote slips right into your pocket, which means I can wear it while folding laundry, tidying up, or knocking out chores around the house. The routines are short and pre-programmed, so even when this is the only thing I do for my skin that day, it still feels like a win! The under eye cooling has been a game changer for my tired eyes. It helps depuff and instantly makes me look more awake, even after long nights with the baby. It says to always use it on clean skin with no products applied, treating it as a true first step! On days I have more time, I will cleanse, use the mask, and then continue with the rest of my routine. On the busiest days, this alone is enough to make me feel like I showed up for my skin. If I'm being honest, I was using it while writing this blog post…</image:caption>

<image:title>Lifestyle - Breast Augmentation With Lift After Kids: My Honest Experience and Recovery Tips - My husband and I always knew two kids was our number. Honestly, one probably would have been enough, but we wanted our son to have a sibling to grow up with. I grew up with three siblings and we’re still close to this day, so that mattered to me. After our daughter was born, we felt complete. Knowing we were done having kids made this decision feel easier and more final.</image:title>
<image:caption>I did this for me, for my confidence. To feel like a woman again after everything my body had been through. Postpartum is hard enough, and some things don’t just magically bounce back. This wasn’t about anyone else. This was something I needed to do for myself, and I’m genuinely so happy I did.</image:caption>

<image:title>Lifestyle - Breast Augmentation With Lift After Kids: My Honest Experience and Recovery Tips - I knew my setup would be one of the most important parts of recovery because comfort is everything and I wouldn’t be doing much moving around. I was very right. For the first two weeks, the bed and the couch were basically my entire world. Not because I couldn’t move, but because I wanted to rest as much as possible. These pillows were truly the holy trinity.</image:title>

<image:title>Lifestyle - Breast Augmentation With Lift After Kids: My Honest Experience and Recovery Tips - Comfort is everything during recovery. Lifting your arms hurts and getting dressed suddenly feels like a chore, so I lived in button up pajama sets. Somehow they made me feel more put together than the usual random t shirt and old pants, even while recovering. My doctor recommended a recovery bra with front hooks, which made getting dressed so much easier. You will live in these bras for six weeks, so grab a few to rotate.</image:title>

<image:caption>There’s a special kind of peace in being awake before the chaos begins. Even if it’s just 15 minutes, it gives me a quiet start to the day. Sometimes I stay in bed and slowly wake up, other times I’ll do my morning skincare routine. (I wrote a whole blog post about how that little ritual helped me feel like me again and even gave me my glow back.) Choosing to begin my day with something for myself makes such a difference in my mood and reminds me I can still prioritize me.</image:caption>

<image:title>Lifestyle - Morning Rituals That Keep Me Grounded as a Mom</image:title>
<image:caption>I’m simply a better mom when I’m caffeinated. In our house, I’ve created a little coffee corner with my Nespresso, coffee pods, milk frother, and Torani syrups. While I love grabbing coffee out, it isn’t always practical, so this setup feels like a small luxury at home. When my son and I come downstairs, I get him settled with a toy or book while I make my coffee. My biggest tip here: invest in a thermal cup. It keeps your drink hot or cold for hours, which is the only way moms can actually enjoy coffee that isn’t reheated or watered down.</image:caption>

<image:title>Lifestyle - Morning Rituals That Keep Me Grounded as a Mom</image:title>
<image:caption>If your morning isn’t too hectic or you don’t have somewhere to be, take a walk. Pack a snack, load your toddler into the stroller, and just step outside. When I was freshly postpartum, I felt so isolated. I read advice to simply get out, even if it was just around the block, and it changed everything. Fresh air and moving my body completely shifted my mood, and it quickly became one of my favorite rituals for my mental health.</image:caption>

<image:title>DINNER - What We’re Eating This Week: Dinner Ideas + Recipes - Creamy Sausage Orzo</image:title>
<image:caption>This one made the list mostly because I had leftover kielbasa from last week and wanted to use it up in a way that still felt like a new meal. It’s also a guaranteed win in our house. My husband and son both love sausage, and even though my husband isn’t the biggest pasta person, he’s always down for orzo. It’s one of those meals that feels filling and satisfying without being complicated, and the fact that it all comes together in one pan makes it even better. Minimal cleanup is always a priority.</image:caption>

<image:title>DINNER - What We’re Eating This Week: Dinner Ideas + Recipes - Steak Mediterranean Bowl</image:title>
<image:caption>This is my balance meal for the week. After a couple heavier dinners, I always want something that feels a little fresher but still filling. I love meals like this because they don’t feel repetitive even though they use a lot of the same ingredients I already have on hand. The homemade tzatziki makes it feel a little more elevated, but it’s still simple enough to throw together without overthinking it.</image:caption>

<image:title>DINNER - What We’re Eating This Week: Dinner Ideas + Recipes - Pesto Chicken Bake with Pasta</image:title>
<image:caption>This was a bit of a Pinterest find this week. I was looking for something that felt on the healthier side but still really good, and this checked both. I used store bought pesto, which I love because one jar goes a long way. I can use it for the chicken and the pasta while still having leftovers, so nothing goes to waste. And honestly, the mozzarella on top is what sold me. I’ve never made this before, but it feels like a safe meal that still has enough flavor to make it interesting.</image:caption>

<image:title>DINNER - What We’re Eating This Week: Dinner Ideas + Recipes - Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders</image:title>
<image:caption>This is definitely the fun meal of the week. I’m using ground beef so it’s almost like a cheeseburger meets sloppy joe situation, and I’m caramelizing onions to take it up a notch. Nothing too complicated, just enough to make it feel a little extra. I’ll probably throw a bag of frozen fries in the oven to keep it easy. This is one of those dinners I already know everyone will love, and for my son I’ll most likely deconstruct it and serve everything separately to make it more fun and easier for him to eat.</image:caption>

<image:title>DINNER - What We’re Eating This Week: Dinner Ideas + Recipes - Stuffed Cabbage</image:title>
<image:caption>This is the wildcard of the week. I’ve never made or had stuffed cabbage before, but the recipe reminded me a lot of stuffed bell peppers, which we make pretty often, so it felt like a good way to switch things up. It seems a little lighter, which I like, but still really comforting. I’m excited to try something new with this one and see if it ends up becoming part of the regular rotation.</image:caption>
